I’m a problem solver digging for the simplest, stickiest solutions for the most complex brand problems. I also tend to be an art director, writer, global team leader, multiple Cannes and EFFIE Gold winner, strategic collaborator, designer, photographer, AI explorer, husband, father, National Park traveler, university instructor, ad show judge, championship tee ball coach, slightly above average hockey player, bogey golfer, proud Detroiter, and a very average website builder.

WORK THINGS.

At Ogilvy, I’ve been lucky enough to spend 10+ years on Dove’s famed Campaign for Real Beauty leading multiple global projects. ADAGE’s #1 campaign of the 21st century and 2025 CANNES GRAND PRIX in long-term Creative Strategy.

Launched Workday’s first ever Super Bowl spot, TOP 10 in USA TODAY’s ADMETER, earning over 4 Billion impressions and gathering multiple gold Cannes Lions and Effies. But more importantly, I now have a selfie with Ozzy Osbourne.

Led global creative on Huggies for 5+ years, winning the brand’s first Cannes Lion. This was an incredibly convenient time because three of my kids were in diapers.

I once did a voiceover for the Clinton administration, which somehow led to a trip to the Whitehouse to meet Bill and Hillary.

I was creative lead on the Chicago Blackhawks for 8 years gathering 2X Emmy nominations. In that time they won the Stanley Cup 3 times, which I take full credit for.
